Your Company Name is a single resource for all of your senior moving needs. We will help you "design" your move, and we will manage any other services you may need, like packing, or holding a yard sale, or creating a floor plan for your new home.

If you are moving to a neighboring state you should expect your belongings to be delivered anywhere between 1-3 days from your move date.
If you are moving long-distance you should expect your delivery window to be around 1-2 weeks from your move date.

You'll save a significant amount of money when you do all the work yourself, but that doesn't mean it will be cheap.
Don't forget to consider these costs when deciding whether to move without professional movers. Truck rental: You may need to rent a moving truck.

While the actual amount of time it takes to move can vary greatly from move to move, professional movers provide these general timelines based on the size of an apartment: Studio or one-bedroom moves take about 2-3 hours.
Two-bedroom moves take about 3-5 hours. Three to four-bedroom moves take up to 7 hours.

Simply put, full service movers will do everything associated with your move. This includes: Supplying all packing materials and supplies. No need to make endless trips to the store for boxes, packing tape, paper, and bubble wrap.

While there is no "average tip", it is widely accepted that tipping amounts for movers range from 5% of the total bill to $20 per man. Proper etiquette is to tip each mover individually, not to the foreman or supervisor. This shows that you recognize and appreciate their individual efforts.

Not if it's a non-binding estimate. Make sure all estimates are in writing. The estimate must clearly state whether it is non-binding or binding. If it's a binding agreement, they're legally obligated to follow the estimate.

Remember, a mover is under no requirement to make an estimate to the shipper, so be sure to ask for a written estimate.

Non-binding estimate: A non-binding estimate is one that can change, although these estimates should be reasonably accurate and provide you with a general idea of the moving cost. Typically, a mover will schedule an onsite visit and check out the goods for the estimate. If you add items or request additional services, the mover may void the estimate or revise it. The non-binding estimate must be in writing and state that it is non-binding.

110% rule: If the final cost exceeds the non-binding estimated amount, the mover must deliver the goods upon payment of the estimated amount plus 10% of that amount. The mover must then defer the balance due on the charges for 30 days.

Binding estimate: A binding estimate is a set price estimate. It is a legal agreement between you and the mover that the cost to move the goods will not exceed the price agreed upon. You still may add services, and the cost for those services is due at delivery. Binding agreements must be in writing.
